It’s that time of the year again—the SEMA Show in Las Vegas is back, and this year, there’s a standout car that has all the dads and car enthusiasts talking: a fully modified Honda Odyssey, transformed into a Honda Odyssey TYPE-R. Yes, you read that right! This beast was created by Bisimoto in collaboration with Jordan Distributors Inc. Let’s dive into what’s been done to this incredible family hauler.

Exterior Modifications: Subtle Yet Striking

Starting with the exterior, the modifications are pretty subtle but definitely eye-catching. The most noticeable upgrade is the TYPE-R badge on the grille, paired with a functional hood vent. A custom front lip was added for that aggressive look, and there’s a Toyo Tires decal on the windshield. On the sides, the Odyssey sits on 19-inch Type R wheels, wrapped in Toyo tires, and features black side skirts along with blacked-out trim around the windows.

At the rear, the blacked-out trim continues, with the iconic Honda red badge in the middle and the TYPE-R emblem on the bottom right. But the real showstopper here is the rear bumper, which houses a set of three stainless-steel exhaust pipes integrated into a sleek rear diffuser with a rear spoiler—adding that sporty, aggressive vibe we all love.
Interior: Racing Touches with Stock Comfort

Inside, it’s a bit more understated—no radical changes here—but the manual transmission and red racing harnesses immediately grab your attention. The rest of the interior is stock, with the original 7-seat layout and no significant material upgrades.
Performance Upgrades: From Family Hauler to Track Beast

Now, let’s talk power. The stock Odyssey comes with a 280hp V6 engine, but this version is packing a punch with the K20C1 engine from the Honda Civic Type-R. Tuned by Hondata, this engine is flexible, running on either 93-octane or E85 ethanol. Performance upgrades include a Mitsubishi Stage 2 turbo, ECU tune, new engine mounts, a Civic Type-R intercooler, upgraded braking system, and a custom exhaust system. The result? Over 550 horsepower! To handle all that power, the car is running on 275/35/R19 Toyo Proxes R888R tires, BC coilovers with adaptive damping, and a limited-slip differential.
A Dream Ride for Dads Who Love Performance
So, what do you think—could this Honda Odyssey TYPE-R be your dream ride? For dads who still want to feel the thrill of the drive, this is a game-changer. It’s not every day you get to experience the excitement of a performance car in a family MPV, so why not have some fun behind the wheel?
