Hydraulic and Pneumatic Cylinder Eyes
Rod eyes create a compact attachment point for cylinder rods, lifting mechanisms, and moving structural members. Confirm bore, thread, eye width, pin fit, and side-load limits for the assembly.

related-product-inchRER10-12-1 / REL10-12-1 is a carbon steel rod eye with 5/8 bore × 3/4 thread. Pin bore housing OD (D) = 1.75″, ring width (W) = 0.875″, pin bore diameter (B) = 0.625″. Total length (A) = 2.875″, thread length (C) = 1.75″. Thread: 3/4-16.
The RER/REL rod eye is a closed-ring end fitting that accepts a pin or bolt through the eye bore. Used in applications where a clevis fork is not required and a solid ring-end pivot is preferred — such as cylinder rod ends, cable-to-rod connections, and simple pivot joints. Carbon steel body with zinc plating. Chromoly option available for higher strength applications.
Right-hand (RER10-12-1) and left-hand (REL10-12-1) thread configurations available. Heat-treated chromoly available on request. Clevis-fork equivalent: CR/CL series. Rod end (spherical bearing in head): XM/XF or JM/JF series.

The RER10-12-1/REL10-12-1 is a carbon steel rod eye — a closed-ring end fitting that accepts a pin or bolt through the eye bore, used where a clevis fork isn't required and a solid ring-end pivot is preferred, such as cylinder rod ends, cable-to-rod connections, and simple pivot joints.
The RER10-12-1 has a 5/8 x 3/4 bore-to-thread configuration: pin bore diameter (B) is 0.625" and the threaded end is 3/4-16.
Pin bore housing OD (D) is 1.750", ring width (W) is 0.875", total length (A) is 2.875", and thread length (C) is 1.750".
Standard construction is carbon steel with zinc plating. A heat-treated chromoly steel option is available on request for applications needing higher strength than the standard carbon steel body.
RER10-12-1 is the right-hand thread version and REL10-12-1 is the left-hand thread version of the same rod eye — they're used individually for a fixed-hand connection or together as an RH/LH pair where the assembly needs a turnbuckle-style adjustment.
The RER10-12-1's clevis-fork equivalent is the CR/CL series, for applications that need a forked two-ear end instead of a solid ring. If the joint needs to articulate rather than just pivot on a pin, the rod-end equivalent (spherical bearing in the head) is the XM/XF or JM/JF series.
