ROD END SPACERS SCW / CW Product Overview
SCW-10 / CW-10 is a 5/8″ nominal rod end spacer. Outer flange OD (A) = 1.42″, bore (B) = 0.626″, spacer body OD (C) = 0.839″, flange thickness (D) = 0.27″.
SCW (stainless steel) and CW (zinc plated carbon steel) rod end spacers are used to fill the gap between the rod end body and a clevis or bracket, centering the rod end in the mounting slot and preventing side loading. Install one spacer on each side of the rod end inside the clevis fork. Available in various widths to match different clevis slot depths and rod end body widths.
Stainless: SCW-10. Carbon steel (zinc plated): CW-10. Cone spacers for tapered pin assemblies: SCNS/CNS series. High-misalignment spacers: SG/HMS series.

ROD END SPACERS SCW / CW Frequently Asked Questions
What are SCW and CW spacers used for?
They are used with rod ends and spherical bearings to control width, shoulder fit, and assembly geometry around the joint.
What is the difference between SCW and CW materials?
SCW uses stainless steel, while CW uses zinc plated carbon steel for standard plated hardware applications.
Why are B and C the first fitment dimensions?
B and C are the first dimensions used to compare spacer fit against the joint and hardware package in the assembly.
What do nominal size, A, and D help define?
Those dimensions describe shoulder profile, nominal fit, and overall spacer geometry that affect hardware stack-up and clearance.
Can these spacers be used with both rod ends and spherical bearings?
Yes. They are commonly used with both rod ends and spherical bearings where spacing and shoulder geometry must be controlled.
Can SYZ support alternate sizes or material requests?
Yes. SYZ can review alternate dimensions, material selections, and application-specific spacer requests for OEM programs.
