WPB TG Wide-Race Staking-Groove Spherical Bearings Product Overview

WPB4TG is a wide-series PTFE-lined spherical bearing with staking groove, bore (B) = 0.2500″, OD (D) = 0.6250″. Body width (W) = 0.437″, inner race width (T) = 0.327″. Ball diameter = 0.531″. Flat OD (O) = 0.300″. Approximate weight: 0.031 lb.

Rated at 5,500 lb static radial load with ±15.0° misalignment angle. The staking groove on the OD allows the bearing to be permanently retained in a housing bore by staking the housing material into the groove — eliminating the need for snap rings or press-fit retention in many assemblies. The 52100 bearing steel ball is precision ground, heat treated, and hard chrome plated. The alloy steel race is heat treated, oil coated, and PTFE lined for self-lubricating operation.

Stainless race + stainless ball: add ‘-SS’ suffix (e.g., WPB4TG-SS). Stainless race + steel ball: add ‘-S’ suffix (e.g., WPB4TG-S). Non-groove variant: WPB4T (WPB-T series). Standard-width Teflon-lined equivalent: COM-T series.
