Bore 0.6250 / 3/4-16 ThreadHJMX10-12(T) 0.6250 3/4-16 Chromoly Heavy Duty Rod End
HJMX(-T) Product Overview
HJMX10-12(T) features a 0.6250″ bore (B) and 1.750″ body diameter (D), with a 1.250″ precision-ground 52100 steel ball running in a stainless steel race. Overall body length (AM) is 2.875″, thread engagement (CM) measures 1.687″. Width (W) is 1.200″ and body thickness (T) is 0.577″; outer reference diameter (O) is 0.856″. Approximate weight: 0.600 lbs. The heavy-duty shank provides an oversized thread for increased torque capacity while maintaining the same bore size.
Rated at 44,650 lb static radial load with ±20° misalignment angle, this 3-piece precision rod end with a 3/4-16 UNF 3A thread suits maximum-load suspension, truck steering, and extreme-duty industrial assemblies. The heat-treated 4130 chromoly body delivers superior strength-to-weight ratio over standard carbon steel designs.
Available as a standard version (HJMX10-12) or PTFE-lined (HJMX10-12T) for maintenance-free, lubrication-free operation. Polished hard chrome finish available on request. Body is 4130 chromoly steel, heat treated and chrome plated; race is stainless steel for corrosion resistance.

HJMX(-T) Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between standard and heavy-duty HJMX rod ends?
The HJMX series includes standard RES part number sizes and heavy-duty shank variants. The heavy-duty versions use larger thread sections while retaining the same general high-strength chromoly rod end concept.
What materials are used in the HJMX(-T) series?
This series uses a hard-chrome-plated 52100 bearing steel ball, a stainless steel race, and a 4130 chromoly body that is heat treated, chrome plated, and available with PTFE-lined construction.
What does the T suffix mean on HJMX part numbers?
The T suffix identifies the PTFE-lined version. The specification notes use JMXR12T as the example format, but the same PTFE-lined suffix logic applies to the HJMX series.
Are polished hard chrome finish options available for HJMX rod ends?
Yes. The HJMX(-T) series is available in polished hard chrome finish according to the product notes, subject to the exact part and order requirement.
Are metric or studded variants available for this series?
Yes. Studded configurations are available, and the product notes also point users to the metric JMX-M and JFX-M family for metric sizing.
What applications are best suited to HJMX(-T) rod ends?
HJMX(-T) rod ends are well suited to suspension systems, steering linkages, heavy-duty link assemblies, and performance or industrial builds that need stronger chromoly rod ends with standard or heavy-duty shank options.
