TUBE ADAPTERS Product Overview
WTF-1404R / WTF-1404L is a 4130 chromoly tube adapter that fits 1 3/4″ OD × 0.250″ wall tubing and has a 7/8-14 female thread. Right-hand (WTF-1404R) and left-hand (WTF-1404L) versions are supplied as a matched pair for adjustable linkage assembly.
The WTF tube adapter is welded or press-fitted into the end of a 4130 chromoly tube, then tapped with a female thread that accepts a rod end, jack screw, or bung adjuster nut. Pairing one RH and one LH tube adapter on opposite ends of a tube creates a turnbuckle-style adjustable link — rotating the tube changes overall assembly length. Used in suspension links, steering tie rods, throttle rods, and push-pull control assemblies.
Right-hand / left-hand matched pair: WTF-1404R + WTF-1404L. Mild steel option available on request. Hex (wrench flat) version available — contact SYZ. Compatible with CMT chromoly tubing and WPB/COM spherical bearing cups (UBC series).
