ROD END SPACER SG / HMS Product Overview
SG10-84 / HMS10-84 is a high-misalignment spacer with 0.624″ bore (D), 0.825″ housing OD (D2), spacer width (B) = 0.500″, outer flange width (W) = 0.250″, inner flange width (W2) = 0.360″. Misalignment angle: ±54°. Total installed width: 1.25″.
SG (stainless steel) and HMS (carbon steel, zinc plated) high-misalignment spacers are used with rod ends and spherical bearings to increase angular articulation range beyond the standard body-to-housing clearance. A pair of spacers allows the rod end to misalign further without the housing contacting the mounting bracket — suited to suspension links, steering arms, and other assemblies where high angular travel is required.
Stainless version: SG10-84. Carbon steel: HMS10-84. Used in pairs (one each side of the rod end or bearing). Compatible with COM series spherical bearings and standard rod ends with matching bore.
