ROD END STUD Product Overview
This rod end stud fits rod ends with 3/4″ bore and uses a 3/4-16 stud thread. Stud length (L) = 3.0″, shoulder length (N) = 1.812″, shoulder diameter (M) = 1.625″.
Rod end studs allow a rod end to be installed in a plain (non-threaded) bore using a nut to secure the assembly, instead of threading the rod end shank directly into a housing. The stud presses or threads into the rod end body and extends on both sides to provide a pivot pin. Used when the mounting geometry requires a stud rather than a threaded shank, or when mounting two rod ends back-to-back through a common bracket.
Available in carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Right-hand thread standard; left-hand (SL suffix) available. Heat-treated alloy steel (SX suffix) available for high-load applications. To order a rod end with stud pre-installed, add ‘S’ to the rod end part number suffix.

ROD END STUD Frequently Asked Questions
What is a rod end stud used for?
A rod end stud is used to adapt a rod end into a studded mounting configuration for improved assembly flexibility.
How do I specify left-hand rod end studs?
Add the LH-style suffix noted in the product documentation to specify a left-hand stud configuration.
What does the heat treated stud option change?
The heat treated alloy steel option supports applications needing higher strength and a more robust stud configuration.
Why are rod end bore size and thread the first fitment checks?
Those two dimensions determine whether the stud matches the rod end bore and the required threaded mounting hardware.
Are these studs available for multiple rod end series?
Yes. The series is intended to support a broad range of rod end sizes for assembly and mounting versatility.
Can SYZ review custom stud requirements?
Yes. SYZ can review custom stud configurations, materials, and program-specific hardware requirements.
