Threaded Rod-End Connections
Rod-end studs provide a threaded interface between a spherical rod end and a bracket, tube, or linkage member. Match bore, thread class, engagement, and shoulder dimensions to the rod end.

related-product-inchThis rod end stud fits rod ends with 3/16″ bore and uses a 10-32 stud thread. Stud length (L) = 1.016″, shoulder length (N) = 0.5″, shoulder diameter (M) = 0.437″.
Rod end studs allow a rod end to be installed in a plain (non-threaded) bore using a nut to secure the assembly, instead of threading the rod end shank directly into a housing. The stud presses or threads into the rod end body and extends on both sides to provide a pivot pin. Used when the mounting geometry requires a stud rather than a threaded shank, or when mounting two rod ends back-to-back through a common bracket.
Available in carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Right-hand thread standard; left-hand (SL suffix) available. Heat-treated alloy steel (SX suffix) available for high-load applications. To order a rod end with stud pre-installed, add ‘S’ to the rod end part number suffix.

The 3/16 Rod End Stud fits rod ends with a 3/16" bore and lets that rod end be installed in a plain (non-threaded) bore using a nut, instead of threading the rod end shank directly into a housing — the stud presses or threads into the rod end body and extends on both sides to form a pivot pin.
The 3/16 Rod End Stud uses a 10-32 stud thread, matching the 3/16" bore rod end it's designed for.
Stud length (L) is 1.016", shoulder length (N) is 0.5", and shoulder diameter (M) is 0.437".
The rod end stud assembly allows approximately ± 25 degrees of misalignment in any direction.
Available in carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Right-hand thread is standard; left-hand is available with an 'SL' suffix, and a heat-treated alloy steel version is available with an 'SX' suffix for high-load applications.
Add 'S' to the rod end's part number suffix to order it with the 3/16" stud pre-installed, rather than ordering the stud as a separate item.
