CM-M CF-M Product Overview
CFR6M / CFL6M is a metric two-piece commercial-industrial female rod end with a 6 mm bore (B) and 19.00 mm body housing diameter (D). The 12.70 mm 52100 steel ball is precision ground, heat treated, and hard chrome plated, running in a metal-to-metal race. Female body length (AF) is 30 mm, thread engagement (CF) is 14 mm, body width (W) is 9 mm, body thickness (T) is 6.25 mm. Approximate weight: 25 g.
Rated at 11,895 N static radial load with ±23° misalignment angle, this internally threaded M6 X 1.0 female rod end suits light industrial linkages, automation actuators, and compact machinery. The female body design threads directly onto a mating stud or tube adapter, allowing the rod end to serve as a pivot at the clevis end of the assembly. Carbon steel body with silver zinc plating for commercial-industrial corrosion resistance.
Available in right-hand (CFR6M) and left-hand (CFL6M) metric thread configurations. PTFE-lined version (add ‘T’ suffix, e.g., CFR6MT) for maintenance-free, lubrication-free operation. Studded versions (add ‘S’ suffix) also available. Alternate thread pitch variants available on request. Yellow zinc plating and alternate body material options available.

CM-M CF-M Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between CM-M and CF-M rod ends?
CM-M parts are male rod ends with an external metric thread, while CF-M parts are female rod ends with an internally threaded body. Both use the same two-piece commercial-industrial construction concept.
What materials are used in the CM-M-CF-M metric series?
The series uses a 52100 bearing steel ball that is precision ground, heat treated, and hard chrome plated, together with a carbon steel body finished with silver zinc plating. PTFE-lined versions are available as an option.
Can I order PTFE-lined versions in the CM-M-CF-M series?
Yes. PTFE-lined versions are available by adding a T suffix to the part number, for example CMR12MT, when lower-friction self-lubricating performance is needed.
Are grease fittings or studded versions available?
Yes. Non-PTFE versions can be supplied with a grease fitting by adding a Z suffix, and studded versions are also available by adding an S suffix depending on the part number.
Can this series be supplied in alternate thread pitches or other materials?
Yes. Selected alternate metric thread pitches are available by adding the pitch to the suffix, and chromoly steel or aluminum body options can also be supplied for applications with different strength or weight requirements.
Is there an inch equivalent for the CM-M-CF-M metric series?
Yes. The inch counterpart is the CM / CF series. If your design uses imperial hardware, that series is the closest matching family to compare alongside CM-M and CF-M.
