COMA M(-T) Product Overview
COMA-M20(T) is a metric spherical bearing with a 20 mm bore (B) and 46 mm OD (D). Body width (W) = 25 mm, inner race width (T) = 18.0 mm. Ball diameter = 34.93 mm. Flat OD (O) = 24.35 mm. Approximate weight: 230 g.
Rated at 260,086 lb static radial load with ±14.5° misalignment angle. The 52100 bearing steel ball is precision ground, heat treated, and hard chrome plated. The alloy steel race is oil coated and drilled/grooved for external lubrication. PTFE liner available — add ‘T’ suffix for self-lubricating variant (COMA-MT). Used in metric-dimension industrial machinery, hydraulic cylinders, agricultural equipment, and structural pivot assemblies.
PTFE-lined variant available (suffix ‘T’). Zinc plated race option available on request. Inch equivalent is the COM(-T) series. Stainless steel race options available on request.

COMA M(-T) Frequently Asked Questions
What is COMA-M(T) used for?
COMA-M(T) spherical bearings are used in metric articulated joints and linkage positions where compact commercial-series geometry and reliable radial support are required.
What is the difference between COMA-M and COMA-MT?
COMA-M is the standard metric commercial metal-to-metal spherical bearing, while COMA-MT refers to the PTFE-lined option for lower-friction articulation.
What materials are used in COMA-M(T) spherical bearings?
COMA-M(T) uses a 52100 bearing steel ball, precision ground, heat treated, and hard chrome plated, together with an alloy steel race that is oil coated.
Does COMA-M(T) support lubrication?
Yes. Groove and hole are provided for the COMA series, which helps support lubricated service in applications using the metal-to-metal version.
Is a PTFE-lined metric commercial version available?
Yes. PTFE-lined versions are available in the COMA-MT series for applications that benefit from self-lubricating spherical-bearing movement.
How do I choose the right COMA-M(T) size?
Start with the required bore, outer diameter, widths, misalignment angle, and static radial load shown in the size chart, then confirm whether the standard or PTFE-lined version is the better fit for the application.
