B 2.0000 / D 3.5000SLB32H Spherical Bearing (Inch)
SLB Product Overview
SLB32H is a load-slot spherical plain bearing with a 2.0000″ bore (B) and 3.5000″ OD (D). Body width (W) = 1.750″, inner race width (T) = 1.375″. Ball diameter = 2.937″. Flat OD (O) = 2.360″. Approximate weight: 2.650 lb.
Rated at 217,060 lb static radial load with ±8.5° misalignment angle. The 52100 bearing steel ball is precision ground, heat treated, and hard chrome plated. The alloy steel race is heat treated and oil coated, with a reinforced nylon race and PTFE liner for self-lubricating operation. The load-slot design allows the ball and race to be assembled from the side, simplifying installation in confined or fixed-pin assemblies. Stainless steel options available for corrosive environments.
Stainless race + stainless ball: add ‘-SS’ suffix (e.g., SLB32H-SS). Stainless race + steel ball: add ‘-S’ suffix (e.g., SLB32H-S). Zinc plated race available on request. Standard COM(-T) series available without the load-slot feature.

SLB Frequently Asked Questions
What is SLB used for?
SLB spherical bearings are used in articulated joints and linkage positions where load-slot geometry, reinforced nylon PTFE race construction, and compact radial support are required.
What makes SLB different from standard metal-to-metal spherical bearings?
SLB uses a reinforced nylon race with PTFE and load-slot construction, giving it a different wear and articulation profile from standard metal-to-metal spherical bearings.
What materials are used in SLB spherical bearings?
SLB uses a 52100 bearing steel ball, hard chrome plated and precision ground, together with a heat-treated alloy steel race and a reinforced nylon race with PTFE liner construction.
Are stainless options available in SLB?
Yes. Add -SS for stainless race and stainless ball, or -S for stainless race with steel ball, for example SLB12-SS or SLB12-S.
What is the benefit of the PTFE nylon race in SLB?
The reinforced nylon race with PTFE helps reduce friction and supports smoother articulated movement in applications that benefit from lined spherical bearing construction.
How do I choose the right SLB size?
Start with the required bore, outer diameter, widths, ball size, and static radial load shown in the size chart, then confirm whether standard, -S, or -SS material configuration is the better fit for the application.
