SCM-T SCF-T Product Overview

SCFR6T / SCFL6T features a 0.3750″ bore (B) and 1.000″ body diameter (D), with a 0.719″ 440C stainless steel ball, precision ground and hard chrome plated. Overall body length (AF) is 1.625″, thread engagement (CF) measures 0.812″. Width (W) is 0.500″ and body thickness (T) is 0.359″. Approximate weight: 0.130 lbs.

Rated at 4,527 lb static radial load with ±22° misalignment angle, this 2-piece female rod end with a 3/8-24 UNF 3A internal thread suits general industrial linkages, food-grade machinery, and corrosion-resistant assemblies. The all-stainless construction (304 body, 440C ball) combined with the PTFE liner delivers maintenance-free operation in wet, corrosive, or food-grade environments where carbon steel or aluminum alternatives are not acceptable.

PTFE liner is standard on all SCM-T / SCF-T models for maintenance-free, lubrication-free operation. Stud configuration available (add suffix S). Alternative body materials available on request: 316 stainless steel and 17-4 PH stainless steel. Passivation and polished finish also available.

What is the difference between SCM-T and SCF-T rod ends?

SCM-T parts are male-thread stainless rod ends and SCF-T parts are female-thread stainless rod ends. Both belong to the same 2-piece PTFE-lined stainless steel series and follow the same corrosion-resistant material direction.

What materials are used in the SCM-T-SCF-T series?

This series uses a 440C stainless steel ball with hard chrome plating and a 304 stainless steel body in a PTFE-lined construction. Alternate stainless body grades are also available depending on project requirements.

What does the T suffix mean on SCMR and SCFR part numbers?

The T suffix identifies the PTFE-lined version. For example, SCMR12T refers to the PTFE-lined version of that stainless rod end size.
