related-product-inchSG12-816W / HMS12-816W is a high-misalignment spacer with 0.749″ bore (D), 0.875″ housing OD (D2), spacer width (B) = 0.500″, outer flange width (W) = 1.000″, inner flange width (W2) = 0.423″. Misalignment angle: ±54°. Total installed width: 2.875″.
SG (stainless steel) and HMS (carbon steel, zinc plated) high-misalignment spacers are used with rod ends and spherical bearings to increase angular articulation range beyond the standard body-to-housing clearance. A pair of spacers allows the rod end to misalign further without the housing contacting the mounting bracket — suited to suspension links, steering arms, and other assemblies where high angular travel is required.
Stainless version: SG12-816W. Carbon steel: HMS12-816W. Used in pairs (one each side of the rod end or bearing). Compatible with COM series spherical bearings and standard rod ends with matching bore.

It's a high-misalignment spacer with a 0.749" bore (D) used with rod ends and spherical bearings to increase angular articulation range beyond the standard body-to-housing clearance. Fitted as a pair (one on each side of the rod end or bearing), it lets the rod end misalign further without the housing contacting the mounting bracket — suited to suspension links, steering arms, and other assemblies where high angular travel is required.
SG12-816W is the stainless steel version and HMS12-816W is the zinc-plated carbon steel version of the same spacer — same dimensions, different material for corrosion resistance versus standard cost.
Bore (D) is 0.749" and housing OD (D2) is 0.875", with a spacer width (B) of 0.500" — confirm these against your rod end or spherical bearing's housing bore before ordering.
This spacer is rated for approximately ±54° of angular misalignment, with a total installed width of 2.875" when the pair is fitted.
Outer flange width (W) is 1.000" and inner flange width (W2) is 0.423" — these control how the spacer seats against the mounting bracket face and the rod-end/bearing body, so check orientation when installing the pair.
It's compatible with COM series spherical bearings and standard rod ends with a matching bore, and is used in pairs — one spacer fitted on each side of the rod end or bearing.
